James Cameron Denies He’s in Talks to Make OceanGate Film


James Cameron is debunking rumors that allege he’s concerned in discussions a few potential film about the corporate that made and operated the Titan submersible.

The director of the Oscar-winning blockbuster Titanic issued an announcement on Twitter July 15, virtually a month after the small vacationer sub from OceanGate Expeditions imploded underwater off the coast of Newfoundland whereas diving to the wreckage of the well-known Titanic ship, killing all 5 passengers, together with the corporate’s CEO, Stockton Rush.

“I do not reply to offensive rumors within the media normally, however I must now,” Cameron tweeted. “I am NOT in talks about an OceanGate movie, nor will I ever be.”

The Oscar winner, who has personally made 33 dives to the Titanic’s wreckage, had shared his ideas on the submersible implosion in media interviews days following the tragedy.
