“Following the ongoing developments surrounding the situation in Israel, easyJet has now taken the decision to suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the remainder of the summer season,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
Customers who have booked a ticket to Israel for the period until October 27 can change their flight or receive a full refund, according to the spokesperson.
EasyJet has only been flying between Schiphol and Tel Aviv again since the beginning of this month. So that took barely two weeks.
KLM has also canceled flights to Tel Aviv for the coming days, but plans to resume flights at the end of this week. The Israeli El Al has continued its flight operations between Schiphol and Israel’s largest city.
