Vicky Kaushal unveils the newest poster of Sam Bahadur

Exactly one month from today, Vicky Kaushal will make his return to the big screen with the highly anticipated film Sam Bahadur. Building the excitement, the actor took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday morning to unveil a new poster from Meghna Gulzar’s directorial venture.

In the fresh poster, Vicky Kaushal donned the role of Sam Manekshaw, impeccably attired in military uniform, and showcased a resolute expression. In his Instagram caption, Vicky wrote, “SAM IS HERE!!! On 1.12.2023. One month to go!”

Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, delves into the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. With a remarkable career spanning four decades and five wars, Manekshaw achieved the distinction of becoming the first Indian Army officer to attain the rank of Field Marshal. His strategic brilliance during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film features a stellar cast, including Sanya Malhotra as Sam Bahadur’s wife Silloo Manekshaw and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi. 

Sam Bahadur is scheduled to hit theatres on December 1, setting the stage for a box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. 

During the teaser launch of the movie last month, Vicky Kaushal shared his perspective on the box office clash, stating, “We, as an industry, should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That’s how we will flourish as an industry.”
