Skinny strips of a clear gel have been discovered to crack impossibly shortly.

“What we discovered was a complete shock. This simply isn’t purported to occur,” says Jay Fineberg on the Hebrew College of Jerusalem in Israel who led the group that noticed the record-breaking cracks.
