Sam Bahadur trailer: Vicky Kaushal is convincing as Sam Manekshaw in the Meghna Gulzar film

The full-length trailer of Sam Bahadur is out. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film features Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in key roles.

“I want to win!” says Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Mankeshaw in the opening of the trailer of Sam Bahadur. We then see a dedicated Sam preparing for a war. We also see Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The official synopsis reads, “Sam Bahadur is a tribute to Field Marshal Sam HFJ Manekshaw, MC, India’s first Field Marshal and a legendary Army General. His career witnessed the shaping of India’s geopolitical borders, and his life was marked by significant milestones, from fighting in World War II to being the Chief of Army Staff during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, that led to the creation of Bangladesh.” 

Sam Bahadur will be released on December 1, 2023.
