Photo reveals remarkable design OPPO Find X7 Pro

OPPO’s upcoming flagship Find X7 Pro may have the most remarkable camera island design yet. This is evident from a photo published on Weibo.

OPPO’s flagships are known for their eccentric camera islands. For example, the OPPO Find X3 has a glass housing that tapers towards the camera surface. This trick was repeated on the Find X5 series – either with a larger island. For the Find X6 Pro, it took its inspiration from the lens ring on Hasselblad cameras, including the subtle orange dot. With the Find Weibo popped up.

In that photo, the camera module of OPPO’s Find X7 Pro is said to be on display. What is striking about the photo is the octagonal design of the island. This island appears to accommodate five cameras, with a rectangular periscope module in the center. The design of this island is somewhat similar to the camera design on Huawei’s Mate 40 series.

No details are yet known about the exact specifications of the camera sensors. It is quite possible that they are the same as those of the OnePlus 12. That flagship is known to have a 64MP periscope camera with 3x zoom and a 48MP main camera; Sony’s Lytia LYT-808. Hasselblad software is of course also available on the Find X7 Pro, just as it is for the OnePlus 12. This software optimizes, among other things, color reproduction for photos and videos.

Launch in 2024

OPPO is also expected to use an OLED panel from BOE – more specifically the X1 Oriental Screen. BOE, OPPO and OnePlus joined forces to develop this panel – according to the manufacturers, it is the most advanced OLED panel made in China. It is already an exceptionally bright screen with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. OnePlus has already confirmed the use of the screen for the OnePlus 12. OPPO also previously announced that it was developing phones with the X1 Oriental Screen. The Find X7 Pro may be one such phone.

For the time being, we will have to wait and see for other details. OPPO has not yet discussed the introduction of the Find X7. This year the Find X6 introduction took place in March, after OnePlus introduced the 11. It is not known whether the X7 Pro will also have to wait that long.

This has relatively little impact for European consumers: after all, the phone will not leave China. Just like last year, the high-end Find series will not be launched in Europe. If you want the specifications of a Find device, you can (largely) go to sister brand OnePlus.
