Anyone who wants to purchase a new Apple tablet should wait another year: Apple will launch refreshed iPads in 2024.
2023 was an eventful year for Apple. The brand introduced the iPhone 15 series in September: the first Apple smartphone with a usb-c-connector. During the Scary Fast event at the end of October, the tech giant unveiled a few more refreshed ones iMacs on Macbooks. However, fans of tabnlets were left wanting in 2023: Apple did not announce any new iPads in 2023.

New chip

Apple currently offers such M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. There is a possibility that Apple will come up with a new and stronger version of that processor: the M3 Ultra.
According to Gurman, that chip is “not yet widely tested”. So it is unclear whether an M3 Ultra will come to the new iPads. It is more likely that that chip is intended for the new Mac Studio that is currently in the development phase.
New Apple products in 2024
Furthermore, new MacBook Air models are planned for 2024. This would again be a 13-inch and a 15-inch variant. Apple is also expected to release an updated version of its Mac Mini in 2024.
