Former NFL Player Alex Collins Dead at 28


The NFL has misplaced a treasured teammate. 

Former working again Alex Collins—who beforehand performed for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens—died in a motorbike accident, the Seahawks shared Aug. 14. He was 28.

In a tribute, the group known as him a “beloved teammate and fan favourite throughout his two tenures with the group.” 

Collins was driving his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600K motorbike in Lauderdale Lakes, a metropolis positioned close to his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Aug. 13 at round 10:20 p.m. when his car collided with a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, in keeping with a Broward County Sheriff’s Workplace report obtained by NFL.com. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex Collins this morning,” Collins’ household mentioned in a press release issued by the Seahawks following the deadly incident. “Alex was cherished by his household and buddies in addition to supporters from all world wide. All who actually know him can attest to his drive, willpower, and larger-than-life character.”
