To the editor: Though

Whereas

the film “Flamin Scorching” relies on an actual product, it isn’t a documentary. It is a lighthearted movie that options gifted Latino actors portraying enjoyable, relatable characters. (“Why the Flamin Scorching Cheetos film is each pandering and pernicious,” column, June 13)

If the movie had solely targeted on how somebody went from a janitor to director of multicultural advertising and marketing at a Fortune 500 firm, it will have been sufficient for me.

Of all of the movies that blur historic details, that is the one which’s spotlighted. Time to depart “Flamin Scorching” alone and go decide on one other Latino movie, if yow will discover one.

To the editor: Many because of columnist Gustavo Arellano for clearing up the origin of the enduring snack featured within the enjoyable movie, “Flamin’ Scorching.”

I, for one, mistakenly believed that Flamin’ Scorching Cheetos have been invented by George Santos.
