Finnair warns of flight cancellations due to national strike
Several Finnish trade unions have announced large-scale actions against the labor market reforms proposed by the Finnish government. Tens of thousands of Finns are expected to take to the streets on February 1 and 2 to protest against this, or participate by stopping work.
Finnair seriously considers that airport staff may participate in the actions, which will disrupt the flight schedule.
The airline says it cannot yet estimate which flights will be canceled exactly, but is now offering travelers the option to rebook or postpone their flight.
