Emirates introduces new Business Class in Boeing 777-300ER

“Next summer we will start converting 53 Boeing 777-300ERs. They get Premium Economy, and we are also adapting our Business Class in terms of look and feel and also in configuration from the existing 2-3-2 to 1-2-1,” said CCO Adnan Kazim to blogger Sam Chui.

Emirates has a total of 123 Boeing 777-300ERs, so more than 40 percent of those aircraft will receive a new Business Class. These are the aircraft that will remain in the fleet for a long time and will not be replaced within a few years.

Direct access to the aisle is now the norm in Business Class, which means that the current product in the Triple Sevens is starting to become somewhat dated. The new product should resemble the business class in the Airbus A380s and also in the new A350s that will be delivered from next year. There are no impressions yet.

Schiphol and Brussels
Emirates flies to Schiphol with the Boeing 777-300ER, among other things: that type is used on eleven of the eighteen weekly passenger flights, in addition to the daily A380 flight. The airline uses a Triple Seven on all flights to Brussels.
