No Catholic will inform you that the church has at all times been type to LGBTQ+ folks. Dressing as nuns in habits, to me, is a means of utilizing humor to deal with the ache of rejection by the Catholic Church and different Christian denominations. We should always have been type to our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters.
Nevertheless, mocking nuns, Jesus and Our Girl can be a type of bigotry — towards Catholics. Would the Dodgers honor a gaggle that ridiculed Judaism, Islam or some other religion? That took sacred clothes and different holy articles and handled them with disrespect? I hope not.
