Disney+ shares trailer of first Bluey special ‘The Sign’

Disney has unveiled the trailer for ‘The Sign’, the first special of the hit series ‘Bluey’. It will premiere on April 14 at 8pm Central European Time (CET).

The week before, on April 7, a new standard episode, “Ghostbasket,” will premiere, also at 8 p.m., on Disney+.

Bluey: most successful series in the US

“Bluey” is this year’s most-streamed show across all audiences and the No. 1 show for preschoolers and kids in the United States. The April 7 episode features the return of the much-loved Grannies, Janet and Rita, played by Bluey and Bingo.

Created and written by Joe Brumm, the series follows Bluey, a sweet and tireless Australian sheepdog who lives with her mother, father and little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her endless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, drawing her family and the entire neighborhood into her world of fun.

The Sign-special

‘The Sign’ is the longest episode ever of the worldwide hit series. Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti reprise their roles as the voices of Bandit and Chilli Heeler, and Patrick Brammall returns as the voice of Uncle Rad, Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky, along with Megan Washington as Calypso, Myf Warhurst as Trixie, and Rose Byrne as Aunt Brandy.

Both episodes will first air on ABC Kids in Australia and then roll out globally on the same day on Disney+, Disney Junior and Disney Channel in all other available regions (excluding China and New Zealand).
