West Yorkshire, England, police say they may take no additional motion in opposition to a 16-year-old autistic lady they arrested and held for suspicion of a homophobic offense. Officers had picked up the lady in Leeds for reportedly being intoxicated and returned her house. When she arrived house, the lady apparently mentioned one of many officers “appeared like her nana, who’s a lesbian,” based on the lady’s mom. The officer took that as a homophobic comment and a number of other officers entered the house and arrested the lady. The police division mentioned its skilled requirements division is investigating the matter and that the lady would face no additional actions from police.
