33-year-old WWE SmackDown star expresses dream of “successfully headbutting a Samoan”

WWE SmackDown had some interesting matches this week, including an Undisputed Tag Team Championship match. Following the contest, a 33-year-old superstar took to Twitter to express his dream of successfully hitting a headbutt on a Samoan.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso arrived on SmackDown for an open challenge for their Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory answered the challenge in hopes of winning their first championship together.

During the contest, Waller tried to headbutt Jey Uso. However, the move did not work out, as Jey shrugged off the headbutt and hit one of his own to take down the 33-year-old star.

Fans cracked up on social media following the spot and targeted the heel. He had a great response to his haters, as he took to Twitter to express his dream of successfully headbutting a Samoan someday.

Check out what Waller wrote below:

“Flop fans can say whatever they want. Your words are not going stop me living out my dream of one day successfully headbutting a Samoan,” Waller shared.

The following match on SmackDown was arguably Grayson Waller’s best work since moving on to the main roster. He looked more comfortable working against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, and Austin Theory put on a great performance by his side as well.

WWE SmackDown got a new General Manager on Friday night

Fans continued to speculate what Triple H’s big announcement on SmackDown would be. Many wanted to see him bring Jade Cargill to the blue brand or announce Survivor Series WarGames.

Instead, he came out with Adam Pearce and announced him as the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW. He followed up the announcement by declaring Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of SmackDown. It was a great moment for the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

The English star took to Twitter after this announcement to thank Triple H for the opportunity.

Here is what he wrote:

“The opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you @TripleH @WWE Onwards and upwards for the blue brand! #SmackDown,” Aldis shared.

WWE fans will have to wait to see what big decisions Aldis will make in the coming weeks. He could change the landscape of the brand with some aggressive decisions. It will be a great way to kick off his professional career with the Stamford-based promotion.
