Vaibhavi Merchant reveals how Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are as dancers


Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, are renowned not only for their acting prowess but also for their distinct dancing styles. In a recent interview, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant shared her experiences working with them and highlighted their differences as dancers.

In a conversation with a leading news portal, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant discussed her collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, characterizing them as “two different personalities” and “two different men.”

Speaking about Shah Rukh Khan, she noted that he approaches dancing with love and meticulous preparation. “He feels that dance doesn’t come naturally to him. But there is a dancer in him. He’s, of course, done Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen and all of that; it’s not like he’s not danced his way through,” she added. She also emphasised that the superstar brings abundant energy and passion to the set.

In the same interview, Vaibhavi Merchant described Salman Khan as someone who effortlessly embraces dancing; he is a natural. She further noted that Salman expresses his love differently compared to Shah Rukh Khan. “He is a book of poetry, and Salman is a novel,” she remarked. Recently, she choreographed the songs for Tiger 3.

One of the tracks from the film, titled Leke Prabhu Ka Naam, featuring Salman and Katrina, was recently released and was choreographed by Vaibhavi. The song garnered a positive response from fans. The choreographer lauded the actors’ onscreen chemistry and performance.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki, scheduled for release during the Christmas week in December this year. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for Tiger 3, which is slated for release on November 12.
