I do not assume issues are going very properly at Twitter, however time will inform. I just like the ‘vibe’ of Mastodon higher for now. The benefit can also be that you’re not introduced with the whole lot algorithmically. It is the messages from the individuals you comply with, or the issues they increase.
And chronologically too.
My twitter timeline, first 5 posts:
* A tweet from Sander Schimmelpenninck, as a result of somebody I comply with responded to it. (+the response)
* commercial for a kitchen one thing. (?)
* publish from somebody I comply with, however from January 31… I had seen it earlier than, however apparently traction or one thing
* A tweet that somebody I do know commented on (+ the remark)
* commercial for some safety software program (?)
* A meme that somebody I comply with has favored.
My Mastodon timeline
* boosted publish, (by somebody I comply with)

On Mastodon, those I comply with are the curators: you solely see what they are saying themselves, or what they increase. Chronological!
On Twitter, the algorithm is continually making an attempt to make me chunk on a publish. “Dedication”.
On Mastodon I can fairly simply cease following (or mute) somebody after which I’ll not obtain their messages (and boosted posts). On Twitter, that hook will get thrown out on a regular basis, and the individuals I comply with have little management over it. Generally they like one thing and I get to see it, generally not. Who’s to say.
I nonetheless verify Twitter, however I depart quicker each time, as a result of I get so uninterested in that sucking algorithm..
