The world has yet one more sloth species in it than beforehand thought. Maned sloths reside in a small belt of forest in Brazil and an evaluation now suggests these within the south are a distinct species from these discovered farther north.
Three-toed sloths had been conventionally regarded as divided into 4 species. One – the maned sloth (Bradypus torquatus) – sports activities a thatch of coarse, brown hair, making the pinnacle resemble a husked coconut.
