I actually have an XGS-PON from the kpn.
it doesn’t even have its personal modem, however it does have its personal router.
so that you not have a small field the place the fiber optic goes over to ethernet cable.
the remaining I do myself, no downside for myself and all the things is properly solved.
this half was a bit of cake for me.
(no kpn router with obligatory kpn DNS.)
