See Venus and the moon dance with the ‘Seven Sisters’ during the Lyrid meteor shower Saturday



Stargazers are set for a spectacular present this Saturday (April 22), because the moon and Venus ​ — the 2 brightest objects within the night time sky — will seem as if they’re about to collide amid a meteor bathe, all whereas set in opposition to the backdrop of a shocking star cluster. 

Venus will seem 6 levels above and to the left of the waxing crescent moon by Saturday, with the Pleiades star cluster — a bunch of seven seen (and plenty of extra dim) stars popularly referred to as the “Seven Sisters” — about the identical obvious distance under a phenomenal and slender crescent moon, in response to NASA (opens in new tab)
