Ranbir Kapoor shot Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani together

Ranbir Kapoor recently revealed that Wake Up Sid was his most unforgettable project. He also talked about the challenges of shooting the film at the same time as Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

While interacting with his fans, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he filmed Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Wake Up Sid simultaneously. He mentioned, “It’s the only time I have done 2 films together and it was very confusing.” Ranbir explained that portraying the character of lazy Sid in one movie and doing over-the-top comedy in the other was demanding as they were from different domains. This occurrence made him realize the importance of a leisurely pace and concentrating on one film at a time.

Ranbir Kapoor was further asked which project he found most memorable. Ranbir nostalgically mentioned Wake Up Sid, his third film following Saawariya and Bachna Ae Haseeno, where he first met his now best friend, Ayan Mukerji. Reflecting on this experience, Ranbir expressed that the movie made him realize that in the world of cinema, one can also portray different characters.

He stated, “You don’t only have to play the hero.” Ranbir also revealed that this realization had a significant impact on his future movie choices and decisions.
