Toronto Raptors guard Malachi Flynn is recovering from a damaged left cheekbone.
He sustained the damage throughout the third quarter of Sunday’s preseason recreation towards the Utah Jazz in Edmonton, Alberta.
Flynn, 24, cleared concussion protocol and returned to the sport, however postgame testing revealed the fracture.
He’ll put on a protecting face defend and is anticipated to be prepared for the Oct. 19 season opener towards the Cleveland Cavaliers.
