To the editor: I exist. I exist together with hundreds of thousands of different LGBTQ+ individuals in the USA. (“Not less than 5 killed in capturing at homosexual nightclub in Colorado Springs, police say,” Nov. 20)
You can not ignore us. You can not merely say we’re not to be talked about in “well mannered firm.” You can not disguise us, like soiled laundry, out of your kids.
We exist. We now have existed from the start of time and can exist till the top. We exist in each society. We exist in your individual households.
We are saying homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer. We proudly say LGBTQ+. A few of your siblings are LGBTQ+, as are a few of your kids.
Our battle is their battle. Our combat is their combat. We won’t cease. We won’t quit. We’re preventing for our very existence. We’re preventing for our rights.
We’re not freaks. We exist. Do not forget that easy reality.
