Kareena Kapoor Khan feels she nailed Omkara but people only praise Saif Ali Khan for it

With her portrayals of Geet from Jab We Met and Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kareena Kapoor Khan has deeply impacted her audience. In fact, the actress feels that the public has stopped recognizing her range of abilities. Kareena claimed in an interview that the two characters she is most linked with are Poo and Geet.

She claims that in some ways, it has prevented the audience from understanding her diversity. Directors, however, have. She notes that she has collaborated with directors such as Vishal Bhardwaj, Govind Nihalani, and Mani Ratnam, right up to her most recent film, Laal Singh Chadha, in which she attempted to disprove and reject this entire pop culture and the pout.

The actress continued by saying that she began experimenting with roles when she did Chameli at the age of 21. Kareena further mentioned that the part of Omkara was one she felt she nailed and for which she even received awards. But whenever people discuss Omkara, they just bring up Langda Tyagi (played by Saif Ali Khan).

Kareena further revealed that Saif responded to her frequent questions as to why people only know her from Poo or Geet. “When people look at your face, they go back to, ‘She must be like that (like Poo or Geet) as a person.'” Kareena has started to believe that everyone thinks Poo and Get means Bebo.On the work front, she recently made her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan co-starring Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Next, she will be seen in The Crew with Kriti Sanon and Tabu in lead roles. She also has Hansal Mehta’s next in her kitty.
