Hawaiian Airways flights to the Prepare dinner Islands start in Might, making the vacation spot a one-stop journey from Boston.

Hawaiian Airways will restart service to the Prepare dinner Islands this spring, offering a one-stop connection to the vacation spot from Boston and 14 different U.S. cities, the airline introduced Wednesday.

The weekly flight between Honolulu and Rarotonga, the most important of the Prepare dinner Islands, will start on Might 20, 2023. The route will make it simpler for vacationers on the U.S. mainland to get to Rarotonga, based on the airline. Hawaiian Airways presents continuous service to Hawaii from 15 mainland gateway cities, together with Boston.

It has been practically 30 years since Hawaiian Airways served the Prepare dinner Islands. The service beforehand served the vacation spot from 1987 to 1993, based on the airline.

“We’re delighted to develop our South Pacific community by providing our company entry to the Prepare dinner Islands, an archipelago that shares Hawai‘i’s Polynesian roots and pure magnificence,” Peter Ingram, president and CEO of Hawaiian Airways, stated in a press release. “This service significantly expands journey alternatives between the Prepare dinner Islands and the US, because of our well-timed connections and strong community, together with service between Hawai‘i and eight California cities.”

The 15 islands of the Prepare dinner Islands, situated within the South Pacific, characteristic “an unspoiled paradise, full with white sand seashores, blue lagoons, and plush inexperienced mountains,” based on the vacation spot’s web site.

Vacationers will fly on the airline’s Airbus A321neo that includes 16 leather-based recliners within the Premium Cabin, 45 Additional Consolation Premium Economic system seats, and 128 Economic system seats.

The flight will depart Honolulu at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and arrive in Rarotonga at 10:25 p.m. the identical day. The return flight will depart Rarotonga at 11:35 p.m. on Sundays and arrive in Honolulu at 5:50 a.m. on Monday.

Ticket gross sales for the brand new service will start on Dec. 7.
