Ethereal ice swirls dance around Arctic peninsula in stunning new satellite image

A surprising new satellite tv for pc picture reveals an infinite mass of melting sea ice elegantly swirling round a Russian peninsula within the Arctic. Though lovely, the scene is a sombre reminder of the ever-increasing results of local weather change.

NASA’s Aqua satellite tv for pc snapped the dazzling ice show on Could 28 twirling across the Sea of Okhotsk for tons of of miles, simply off the coast of Russia’s snow-covered P’yagina Peninsula. The picture was launched on June 12 by NASA’s Earth Observatory.
