To the editor: What a delight it was to look at the drama, ardour and unadulterated pleasure Sunday because the El Segundo staff received the Little League World Sequence.
It’s mentioned that good management begins on the high, and the mutual respect and empathy that every one the El Segundo gamers had for one another was fairly evident. The coach, Danny Boehle, said that his final phrases to his gamers once they met on the pitcher’s mound for technique discussions can be, “Love you.”
In a world the place this isn’t said or manifested sufficient, I discovered this to be fairly inspirational, and apparently it resonated with all his gamers as nicely. Congratulations to Coach Danny and all of the lads from El Segundo.

To the editor: Town of El Segundo acquired its title when it grew to become the positioning of the second Normal Oil (now Chevron) refinery greater than 100 years in the past.
The El Segundo Little League world champions are second to nobody.
