Doctor Who is getting its own Christmas special on Disney+. The streaming platform has shared the first images of The Church on Ruby Road.

New actor Doctor Who
None other than Ncuti Gatwa (known for his role as Eric in Sex Education) will play the role of the new Doctor. In The Church on Ruby Road he sets off with Ruby Sunday (played by Millie Gibson), a teenage girl who is looking for her roots.
Gatwa previously appeared as Doctor Who in The Giggle, an anniversary special of the series. According to IMDb, The Church of Ruby Road would already be the start of the 14th season of Doctor Who, the main part of which is expected in the spring of 2024. However, there is no precise release date for the new season yet.
