Deepest-dwelling fish ever seen is a ghostly snailfish spotted more than 27,000 feet beneath the ocean surface

A ghostly white snailfish has unknowingly smashed the file for the deepest fish ever seen after it was filmed at greater than 27,000 ft beneath the ocean floor. 

Scientists on board the analysis vessel DSSV Strain Drop stumbled throughout the snailfish, which is probably going a juvenile, in September 2022 whereas utilizing a remotely operated submersible hooked up with a baited digital camera within the Izu-Ogasawara Trench within the western Pacific, close to Japan. The snailfish species is unknown, however scientists imagine it belongs to the genus Pseudoliparis. It was noticed at a record-breaking depth of 27,349 ft (8,336 meters).
