Some carnivorous vegetation change their scent to draw several types of prey, mimicking flowers of their luring strategies, and possibly even regulating their digestion.

Trumpet pitcher vegetation, or Sarracenia, get their nickname from their design – their leaves have advanced into the form of pitcher-like cavities into which bugs journey, falling deep into corrosive, digestive liquid they can not escape.
