‘Capcom Town’ Digital Museum Website Updated To Let You Also Play Breath of Fire, Ghosts’N Goblins, and Super Ghouls’N Ghosts – TouchArcade

Back in June, Capcom launched a 40th anniversary site to celebrate its anniversary with a digital museum that had five playable retro games. The Capcom Town website has just been updated to add in three more playable games. These retro games join the existing games, and I’m curious to see what is added next. You can also play the English or Japanese versions of the games using the link above:

New games added to Capcom Town:

  • Breath of Fire
  • Ghosts’N Goblins
  • Super Ghouls’N Ghosts

Existing games in Capcom Town:

  • Street Fighter II
  • Final Fight
  • Mega Man
  • Mega Man II
  • Mega Man X

If you’ve not tried this yet, the interface is as shown in my screenshot above. There are quite a few ways to play these games, but it is good to see Capcom add more to this celebration website. When it was launched, I wasn’t sure how long it would be kept online, but today’s update might hint that Capcom will add more content to it again in the future. If you feel like playing some of the games listed above on your phone or tablet browser, you can do it now for free. You can also experience some of Capcom’s history through franchises like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and more on the site. What is your favorite Capcom game and will you be trying any of the ones added today?
