It wouldn’t surprise me anymore. The only funny thing about the Sims used to be that you could push the boundaries of the decent (if no parents were watching of course). :) ).

As a teenager/adolescent we thought we were being original and hilarious, by doing that detective work and looking for those boundaries. But now I think game developers never saw this as a bug, but as a feature.

Thinking back to the message last, that the developer has jumped on the inclusion and diversity bandwagon, it seems that they are now publicly milking what we used to see as bugs. This last holy house lends itself perfectly to that, nice and pungent and always relying on a bug, in short, excellent marketing.

Frankly, this seems like such a “bug” that doesn’t just pass the test. By revealing these kind of bugs in advance, it takes away a bit of the nostalgic charm of it screw up lost “bug testing” of friends sisters savegames :+.
