Members of the debating society at Royal Holloway, College of London, a public college in England, stated they had been “robust armed” and “bullied” by the coed union into rescinding an invite to Claire Fox to talk. Fox is a member of the Home of Lords and head of a free speech suppose tank. The pinnacle of the coed union despatched the debating society an e mail objecting to Fox sharing a video clip of comic Ricky Gervais wherein Gervais joked about “the quaint ladies, you realize, those with wombs” versus “the brand new ones we have been seeing currently with beards and c—-.” The pinnacle of the coed union stated the clip was “overtly transphobic.”
