Jarrod Belcher was shocked when he discovered Alabama’s Jefferson County Faculty system had suspended his 6-year-old son for pointing his finger like a gun whereas enjoying cops and robbers with one other scholar. The varsity system gave his son a category 3 violation, essentially the most critical and the identical one given to college students who really convey weapons to highschool. After he complained, the college system dropped that to a category 2 violation. In a press release to native media, the college system mentioned that after “additional assessment of the circumstances” officers had decided that solely a “dialogue with the scholar” was wanted, not a suspension. However Belcher mentioned the category 2 violation stays on his son’s file.
