Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher cherished a profound friendship with the late Satish Kaushik. Following Kaushik’s untimely passing earlier this year due to a heart attack, Anupam Kher stepped into the role of a guardian for Kaushik’s family.
In a recent interview, Kher reflected on the loss of his dearest friend and the void it has left in his life. He revealed that when he and Anil Kapoor come together, they consciously avoid discussing Kaushik, despite both being deeply affected by his passing.
Anupam Kher conveyed that the absence of Satish Kaushik will always be felt, referring to him as his “habit.” He mentioned that no matter where he goes, the absence of Kaushik will linger.
Anupam Kher shared his profound reluctance to broach the topic of Satish Kaushik’s passing, as it brings tears to his eyes. He stressed that Kaushik’s departure was untimely and mentioned that he had “many dreams to fulfil.”
He recalled a line Kaushik used to say in the past, “Sometimes you have to make your presence felt by your absence.”
