Flying Blue is the loyalty program of KLM and Air France. Flying Blue members who link their account in the Uber app earn 1 mile for every euro they spend on Uber rides. This increases to 2 miles per euro for customers who make four or more rides per month.
“We are excited to partner with Uber to offer our members additional ways to earn miles in their daily lives,” said Ben Lipsey, Senior Vice President Customer Loyalty and President of Flying Blue.
To earn miles, users need to click on ‘Rewards’ in the settings menu of their Uber app and then on ‘Flying Blue’. They can then link their accounts. The earned miles can of course be exchanged for flights or upgrades, for example.
