The Inexperienced Bay Packers signed former Houston Texans beginning security Jonathan Owens on Friday
Phrases of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Owens, 27, began all 17 video games for Houston final season in his fourth and best NFL season. He collected 125 tackles, 4 go breakups and one sack. However the Texans didn’t re-sign him when his newest contract expired.
He caught on with the Texans in 2019 after going undrafted in 2018 out of Division II Missouri Western and spending his rookie season on injured reserve with Arizona. He has appeared in 31 video games over 4 seasons (19 begins) with Houston and has one profession interception.
Owens can also be married to gymnast Simone Biles, the four-time Olympic gold medalist. Biles posted images of herself with Owens at Lambeau Area to Instagram on Friday afternoon, together with one shot of Owens signing his contract.
