Opinion: Dianne Feinstein’s return prompts mixed feelings

To the editor: I’m white, feminine, 80, and a lifelong liberal Democrat — the form of voter who has supported Dianne Feinstein for many years. Thus I really feel my voice, as a super-longtime backer, must be heard. She should retire. Her private want to stay in workplace is in full battle with the general public path she stepped onto many years in the past, to do the individuals’s work. Ego can not rule right here, because it did with RBG. If I can not say it, who can? This isn’t sexist. That is our nation’s future.

To the editor: Feinstein has returned to the Senate. I belief her capability to complete her time period due to her data, expertise and age. As I learn the article, I couldn’t assist however bear in mind a chant a never-should-have-been-elected president inspired: Lock her up. At this perilous time we can not misjudge the affect of Donald Trump on the impressionable. I recommend we alter the pronoun in that chant.
