By Petronella from the Goor – EnergieCoöperatie Endura, in 2025, 113,000 euros will receive a subsidy from the municipality of Harderwijk. From that money they will work on an ‘inclusive energy transition’.
“The income flow of the cooperative has dried up by the Netcongestie (the traffic jam on the power network, ed.)
It will probably take until 2030 before they can make solar parks or large connections for companies again. The management fee they received was their revenue model, “explains Alderman Martijn Pijnenburg. The cooperative needs a subsidy to continue to exist and has appealed to the municipality of Harderwijk. That is agreement, on the condition that there is more inclusion in return to that subsidy. “We want to make a movement. Endura now has a monotonous, small group of members. Often richer people. We want a broader group and Endura will get started with that movement, “says Pijnenburg.
How is it published?
Of those 113,000 euros, Endura wants to appoint a coordinator for 32 hours a week. “This person coordinates the various activities, manages the volunteers and will have to set up the neighborhood -oriented approach in the first year,” says Endura in the grant application. In addition, information and advice are given about energy saving, campaigns and projects are devised, made and rotated on energy saving. The cooperation is sought with organizations such as ZorgDat and Housing Corporations, neighborhood actions are organized and energy cafés are held.
The power of local
“Yes, it’s a lot of money,” says Pijnenburg, “but money that previously evaporated through the sustainability counter towards companies or organizations outside Harderwijk, now stays in Harderwijk. Endura is at VVOG, at Dries van den Berg, in the working café of the house of the city. ” He hopes to reach broad society in this way. “We want to save much more direction than generate.”
It is a one -off subsidy. “If this turns out to be successful and we want to continue this collaboration in the future, then not from a subsidy relationship. Then we think of tendering or purchasing earlier and then that is not necessarily at Endura. ”
