Smartphone leaker Evan Blass has shared images of the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI on his X account. It appears to be official marketing material. The images suggest, among other things, that the device uses Sony’s Bravia engine.

From the Pictures it also appears that Sony provides the Xperia 1 VI with support for Hi-Res audio, LDAC, DSEE Ultimate and 360-degree audio. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, according to the images, the device has a 5000mAh battery and support for both wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Sony is once again working with Zeiss for the cameras.

The screen of the Xperia 1 VI has… rumors a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and should be one and a half times as bright as its predecessor. The screen ratio would also be 19:5:9, instead of 20:9. Sony would say goodbye to the 4k screen. The device is reportedly equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 12 or 16GB of RAM.
