Elon Musk will testify in a case against him by the US Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the purchase of Twitter, a company he renamed X.
Musk’s interrogation will last five hours, reports financial news agency Bloomberg. Musk wanted to resist the request to testify, but has given up that resistance, according to court documents.
The case revolves around the purchase of Twitter shares. Musk had purchased 9.1 percent of the shares without reporting it to the SEC. This must be done within ten days of the purchase, if the share of a single shareholder exceeds 5 percent.
