Disney+ has prepared the first trailer for ‘Cristobal Balenciaga’. The self-made historical drama series will come to the streaming platform on January 19.
‘Cristóbal Balenciaga’ is based on historical events from the life of the Spanish designer of the same name. The fashion designer of humble origins released his first haute couture collection in 1937 thanks to an unlikely natural talent. Earlier he would leave a great career in Madrid and San Sebastian behind him. After all, he was a regular with the Spanish elite and aristocracy.
Cristóbal (played by Alberto San Juan) is not having an easy time in Paris and has to compete against trendsetters and icons such as Chanel, Dior and Givenchy. Discover the life story of Cristóbal Balenciaga from January 19 on Disney+. Until then, we’ll have to make do with a nice teaser trailer.
