NASA’s Curiosity rover snapped an intriguing image of a tiny Martian rock that appears surprisingly like a fossilized ebook on the floor of the Crimson Planet.

The rover captured the picture of the peculiar book-like rock on April 15 — the three,800th Martian day, or sol, of its mission — utilizing the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) on the top of its robotic arm, in line with NASA (opens in new tab). The crimson rock seems like two halves of an open ebook with a single web page that has frozen midway by way of being turned.
