Chelsea police arrested a suspect Wednesday after a 16-year-old was shot within the foot at a park.
Police responded to a name reporting gunshots on Bellingham Hill Wednesday night, they stated in a tweet. They then took one individual into custody, whereas a sufferer was taken to a hospital.
Chelsea Police Chief Keith Houghton advised WCVB {that a} 16-year-old had been shot within the foot at Bosson Park round 5 p.m.
First responders took the teenager to Massachusetts Normal Hospital to be handled for non-life-threatening accidents, the information station reported.
Houghton stated police searched for 2 male suspects in reference to the taking pictures, and that there was a foot chase concerned with the arrest, WCVB reported.
Police haven’t recognized the suspect or the sufferer.
